Track lighting is what is used to replace the traditional wire lamps and fixed recessed lighting. These are designed to use a length of exposed electrical wiring that is hidden beneath a plastic or aluminum track. You would spend thousands of dollars trying to rewire the entire home and install lights all over the place then you would if you installed track lighting. These will also provide you with more light then the traditional kind.

The track lighting will cost you anywhere between $20 to $200. Most will come available in kits. This will include the wires, track, and a set of lamps and sockets. Usually each kit will come available with a set of three lamps – but it is possible to find some with around four or five.
